Home Sweet Home...well for now!

Finally we have unpacked the suitcases...after nearly 4 weeks of living out of our suitcases, we have moved into a fully furnished 2 bedroom apartment. Its brand new - we're the first people to live here, so everything is shiny and flash :)

Last week was spent in our temporary apartment - we affectionately named the hill it was on as Everest...well some days walking up it in the heat it felt like we were climbing a mountain! Good view of the valley Launceston is in from the apartment.

Our 2nd week in Tassie, was a productive one - Ollie aced his first exam, getting 98%, and I got a job. Only casual and temporary but its a start. Its in a cafe/bakery - I get to make sandwiches, filled rolls and coffee's as well as serving the customers. I also get to make myself coffee's - its all part of the practice!

Did quite a bit more walking - can't break the trend now! It was quite nice in the evenings when it was a bit cooler to walk around the neighbourhood - lots of interesting old villa's and house's to look at.

Now to settle in to our aparment, job and uni!
